MSU's Homecoming football game is tonight at 6pm against Middle Tennessee State University. My dad is coming over later to go to the game with me. Two weeks ago, I went to see Splendid Chaos at Rick's. It was my first time seeing them since they got a new drummer. It was a great show, and they did some new songs that I hadn't heard them play before. They added Radiohead "Creep," Sixx:A.M. "Life is Beautiful," and Weezer "Say It Ain't So" to their set list. I'm really excited about tonight's new episode of Moonlight! It's the first of four new episodes since the writers strike ended. I downloaded the first 12 episodes on iTunes after they first aired on tv. Everyone should watch this show (and catch up on the first 12 episodes while you're at it). Happy New Year! I got back home from Montgomery a couple of hours ago. I stopped at the mall in Birmingham on the way home and then at my mom's house in Columbus to eat chili for dinner before finally coming home.

I'm really excited about MSU winning the Liberty Bowl yesterday! I just wish I had been able to go to the game, but it didn't work out that way this time. I watched the game on tv. I definitely want to go next time MSU makes it to a bowl game though.

We're leaving around 5:30 to drive up to Tupelo to see Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin tonight. I'm excited about seeing them play a second time. They put on a great show when I saw them at City Stages in Birmingham in June. Sorry this is so short. I just had to do the birthday post before leaving.
